Founded by artists and friends Eric Edvalson and James Talbot, CAFE is a frame studio and wood shop specializing in readymade and semi-custom framing.
We have three tiers of framing service at the Cafe.
Ready-Made
For those that have standard-sized artworks that need quick framing, Cafe offers a handmade alternative to craft store competitors. Available in shadowbox and floater-style, across a variety of sizes and finishes.
Menu
Our premier semi-custom option (and where we get our name) allows you to choose from our shadowbox or floater profiles for a tailored fit to your artwork. Options like size, material, and finish have been priced out in advance (according to lumber and labor costs), which means no guesswork about how much your frame will cost. Menu items also include a variety of optional extras like corner splines, matboard details, and variations to profile, all to help make your artwork feel specially yours.
